Passion Fruit and Mango Sorbet

Ingredients:

4 ripe, wrinkled Passion Fruits
3 medium ripe mangoes, or large ripe peaches, peeled and chopped
2 tablespoons sugar or to taste

Steps:

Cut passion fruits into halves. Spoon pulp (seeds and all) into a food processor or blender container. Add mangoes. Process until puréed. Strain out seeds. Taste mixture and add sugar if desired.

Freeze mixture in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer’s directions.

Tip: You can make this sorbet without an ice cream maker. Freeze fruit purée in shallow metal pan until firm. Break up frozen mixture with fork. Beat with electric mixer until fluffy. Cover mixture and freeze again until firm. Let stand 15 to 20 minutes to soften before serving.
