Overview

What is a Pepquino?

  • Originating from South America, Pepquino Melons are actually micro-cucumbers, despite their mini-watermelon appearance. On the outside, the Pepquino has markings identical to a watermelon, though the interior flesh is green and juicy with a crisp cucumber flavor. Entirely edible, they usually measure 1.5 inches long and 1 inch diameter.

How to Eat

  • Pepquinos are the perfect attention grabbing garnish for salads, cocktails, and other raw applications. They can be cut up and paired with other small fruits for a delicious fruit salad, or cooked with vegetables in a stir-fry. They are even tasty pickled!

How to Store

  • Pepquinos can be stored in their plastic clamshell, refrigerated, for up to 10 days.
