Cipollines in the Garden Salad

Ingredients:

2 cups fresh green beans, cut French-style
3 cups torn romaine or red-leaf lettuce
2 packages Frieda’s Cipolline Onions, peeled according to package directions
2 medium tomatoes, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 cup parsley or watercress sprigs
Bottled Thousand Island or other dressing

Steps:

Steam beans for about 5 minutes or just till crisp-tender. Rinse in cold water. Drain well. Place beans in a large salad bowl with lettuce. Halve cipolline onions; add to salad with tomato pieces and parsley or watercress springs. Toss well. Add dressing and toss again. Serve immediately.
