Garlic & Ghost Pepper Oil
1 Frieda’s Dried Ghost Pepper, cut in half lengthwise
3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 1/4 cups canola or other light-flavored oil
2 cloves garlic
Preheat oven to 225 degrees.
In oven-safe bowl, add oils and chile, then cover with aluminum foil. Bake 3 hours. Remove from oven and add garlic cloves. Let cool completely before transferring to air-tight container. Leave garlic and pepper in oil for more intense flavor. Store refrigerated up to 1 month.
