Glazed Kumquats and Bananas


1 cup butter or margarine
2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon minced Frieda’s® Fresh Ginger Root
1 package Frieda’s® Honey-Glazed Kumquats, finely chopped
3 ripe medium bananas, peeled and cut into I-inch chunks
2 tablespoons Grand Marnier, orange liqueur, or brandy Ice cream or whipped cream


In a large skillet melt butter. Add sugar. Stir in ginger root, kumquats, and banana pieces. Cook till bananas are tender, about 2 minutes. Stir in liqueur. Remove from heat. Serve immediately over ice cream or with whipped cream on top.
