5 Gold Kiwifruit, peeled and cut into pieces
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
10 fresh basil leaves, plus more for garnish
1 tablespoon lime juice
Boil water with sugar a few minutes, then allow to cool. In blender container, combine sugar solution, basil, and lime juice. Add kiwifruit pieces, blending until smooth.
Pour mixture into bowl and freeze at least 3 hours. Every 30 minutes, remove bowl and beat mixture well.
To serve, divide granita between 4 ice-cold glasses, then garnish with a few leaves of basil.
