Sherry-Ginger Carrots


2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 cups sliced carrots
1 tablespoon diced Frieda’s Crystallized Ginger
1 tablespoon sherry (optional)


Melt butter or margarine in a heavy skillet or saucepan. Add sliced carrots and crystallized ginger. Cover and cook over low heat, only 5 to 7 minutes. Do not overcook. Add a tablespoon sherry, if desire, then stir and serve.

Serve with Ginger Pork Hawaiian and Ginger Rice.
