Spicy Garlic Shrimp


1/2 cup olive oil
4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 to 2 Frieda’s Dried chile de arbol peppers, crushed into little pieces
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon chopped fresh oregano
1 tablespoon chopped Italian parsley
Lemon wedge for garnish


Heat half of oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Add half of garlic and half of chile, then cook until garlic is golden. Add half of shrimp, sprinkle with salt, and cook about 1 minute or until almost cooked through. Transfer to bowl. Repeat with remaining ingredients except herbs. Return first batch to skillet to heat through. Season to taste and sprinkle with fresh herbs. Serve with bread and a lemon wedge.
