Steamed Gobo Root with Ginger Butter
Scrub Gobo Root; peel off skin. Cut into 1/2-inch slices; place in chicken broth to cover. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer 30 to 40 minutes until tender. Drain root; place in a serving dish. In same pan, melt butter; add fresh Gingerroot. Toss with Gobo Root; serve.
