12 jujubes, halved
4-inch knob ginger, peeled, thinly sliced
2 thick naval orange slices
4 cups water
Cinnamon stick, optional
Honey, to taste
Place jujubes, ginger and orange slices in a large saucepan. Cover with water. Add cinnamon stick, if desired. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer over medium-low heat. Cover; simmer on low for 20-25 minutes.
Stir in honey as desired. Strain into cups to serve.
