2 1/3 cups Frieda’s Fire Dragons® Fruit (about 3 pieces), peeled and cut into 1/2-inch pieces, plus one for garnish
2 cups watermelon, rind removed and cut into 1-inch pieces
2 cups water. chilled
2 tablespoons simple syrup
1 lime, quartered
1/4 cup kosher or sea salt, for rim
Fresh mint for garnish, if desired
Watermelon slices for garnish, if desired
Cover 2 baking sheets with wax paper. Place Frieda’s Fire Dragons® Fruit and watermelon in single layer on baking sheets. Freeze.
Remove dragon fruit and watermelon from freezer. Let stand at room temperature 10 minutes.
Place salt on small plate. Moisten edges of glasses with lime. Press rim of glasses in salt.
Place watermelon, water, and simple syrup in blender container; purée until smooth.
Add dragon fruit to blender and pulse just until blended.
Spoon slushie mixture into glasses.
Garnish with dragon fruit and lime.
Tip: make this slushie the night before and chill overnight for ideal texture.
